Over father's day weekend, a group of friends and family made the hike up Mount Lassen. Though I was under-prepared in the clothing department somewhat, I was kept warm by the just stunning views from the elevation. This perspective, looking west across the Redding valley was just so stunning I had to stop and make some photographs. By the time I caught back up to the group I couldn't tell if my numb fingers were from the cold or from the excitement of capturing some special perspectives. (I think it was mostly the cold).
